  | European Treats Gift BasketExplore some of Europe’s most delicious delicacies with this two basket tower of European treats. The food tour begins in Scotland, on the Isle of Mull, with a pack of Island Bakery’s Chocolate Ginger Biscuits. These crisp biscuits, made with only organic ingredients, have a chewy piece of crystallized stem ginger set within the center which is then covered with rich dark chocolate.
We then head South to England; from where we’ve included The Bay Tree’s Passion Fruit Curd, a unique and luxurious take on the traditional lemon curd. Uncle Joe’s hard candies, a company who’ve been making sweets in Manchester since 1898. A box of Prestat truffles, favored by Queen Elizabeth II and Roald Dahl (author of Charlie & the Chocolate Factory), these luxurious truffles have crystallized Sea Salt mixed with a full cream soft caramel covered in dark chocolate and dusted in cocoa powder. Finally from Britain, we have E. Botham’s Shah Ginger Biscuits, made in a bakery in the port of Whitby since 1865—an exquisite ginger biscuit made using Persian spices.
We conclude our basket in France, with Traou Mad, a Normandy-based company, from whom we have included Creperolles, small light crispy crepes with a cheese filling; and their butter cookies, simultaneously flaky and smooth, made with fresh butter, wheat flour, egg yolk, whole milk, and salt.
