Lakrids A was the first product developed when Johan Bülow had the original idea to coat licorice with chocolate. People were at first skeptical about the idea, but the popular product A soon saw the light of day. The combination of sweet licorice, exclusive milk chocolate and fine liquorice powder is according to many instantly addictive.

Gluten free- made from gluten free rice flour.

Made in Denmark with premium ingredients:
- Liquorice Core: Soft licorice coated with Belgian chocolate and liquorice powder. A luxurious classic.

- Milk Chocolate: Lakrids always use chocolate of the highest quality in our chocolate coated products. The milk chocolate has a creamy texture and the rich, sweet taste that is loved by chocolate connoisseurs around the world.

- Raw Liquorice Roots: The Greek name for licorice is 'Glycyrrhiza glabra', which means 'the sweet root'. This name is no understatement, because in its natural state the liquorice root is 30-50 times sweeter than plain sugar. We gather our fine liquorice roots from Italy, Afghanistan and the Middle East.
